Allen holds a J.D. (New York Law School) and is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia (BAKC). ​ Before founding P&A Asia, Allen worked for almost 4 years in a law firm in the Kingdom of Cambodia specializing in Property, Corporate, and Commercial where he was heading the relevant departments. Prior to his experience in Cambodia, Allen has performed legal work in leading US law firms in New York, NY and Chicago, IL across areas including Commercial, Corporate, Intellectual Property, Insurance and Tort. ​ Allen is currently a member of The Working Group on Law, Tax and Good Governance (LTGG) in Cambodia, The Asian Society of International Law (AsianSIL), The Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY), The American Bar Association (ABA), The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), and Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity (PAD). ​ Specialties: He frequently travels to the USA to assist American and international clients investing in South-East Asia with a strong focus on Cambodia. ​ Allen speaks English, Khmer and basic Spanish.
